Teddy's Room Opens in Dallas
Brings World-Class Live Entertainments to the Newest Uptown Hotspot
DALLAS, TX, May 20, 2010 - Teddy's Room today announced the official opening of its first Dallas bar, located at 2404 Cedar Springs Road at the intersection of Cedar Springs and Maple Ave in the Uptown section of Dallas.
This week at Teddy's Room features the world-renown burlesque superstar Carolina Cerisola. An award-winning performer originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ms. Cerisola has headlined at clubs and events all across the United States and in 15 countries. In addition, Carolina has made numerous television appearances including the Jimmy Kimmel Show, Superstars of Dance, and was the featured dancer on the Bravo! Network's reality series based on the Forty Deuce nightclub.
Teddy's Room is named for the 26th president of the United States Theodore Roosevelt. Created from co-managing partners John Dolan, Jonathan Valz and Daniel Wierck, the concept of the bar reflects the life and spirit of this decorated president. Roosevelt was best known for his bravery, energetic and cowboy-like personality, and being an explorer at heart.
"Dallas has the perfect combination of style, prestige as well as having a vibrant and eclectic community," said John Dolan, managing partner. "We recognized that this is a city with great energy and people looking for a new place to hang out with a unique point of view. Teddy's Room is just that and brings a fresh bar environment for this sophisticated social scene."
Hosted each night by General Manager Rico Taylor, Teddy's Room is open from 8 p.m. - 2 a.m. every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Serving beer, wine and cocktails, the bar will have live modern burlesque shows with dancers flown in every weekend from LA, Miami, Scottsdale or even Buenos Aires.
